Application 303 Stainless gland plug body with ′ 316 Stainless solid rod electrode. The packaging gland construction of these units provides additional strength in environments with vibrations, shock or side thrust against the electrodes. These are generally used where lengths of 6′ or less are required. If longer than 6′ or if installed horizontally the rod should be insulated leaving 1″ of exposed bare rod on the tip.
